Our pharmacists are experts in drug therapy, educators and communicators. They work along with physicians, nurses, dietitians, physical therapists, infection control preventionists and laboratory technicians. A Jameson Pharmacist may also suggest other medication uses to help provide the highest quality of care. It is our pharmacists’ responsibility to help individuals to have safe, efficient and appropriate drug therapy. All staff pharmacists are registered by the state of Pennsylvania and have at least five years of specialized education.
Jameson’s pharmacists work closely with Infection Control specialty physicians and nursing staff to map out the best choices of antibiotics and other medications. Drug resistant organisms are always evolving and our staff is on top of the best treatment plans to care for the patient and keep others safe by preventing the spreading of germs.
The inpatient pharmacy manages the prescription medication needs of current patients who are staying with us while they are a current inpatient.
The Jameson Outpatient Pharmacy efficiently serves our customers to meet their needs for prescriptions and related medical supplies for use at home.
